Jakob Nielsen defines usability by 5 components. Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors and Satisfaction. I can see how each of these can be put into usability. He also says that another key one is utility. He says that usability is a very important factor on the web. If the place you are on is really slow you will probably get frustrated with the website and leave it. Nielsen continues to talk about usability and its importance. This is helpful to anyone who wants to learn about the web and usability.
As Christians we are supposed to tell others about Christ. A website is a great way you can tell about Jesus and share the word. Max says that it is cool and that the pictures can or cannot be helpful. I think what matters is if the goal for your website is to glorify God. It doesn't have to have all the fancy pictures and stuff, even though that can help, it really depends on if you are doing it to glorify God. We can tell others about Christ and maybe even lead them to Jesus.All that we do should be to glorify Him.
Dreamweaver and expression are both very helpful for web designing. I prefer Dreamweaver a little because it is easier to find stuff like hyperlinking stuff. If you are going to buy one then you really could go either way. Expression is cheaper to install which is a good thing. Dreamweaver is super easy if you have someone to help you find the basic stuff. If you want one that is cheap though and will get the job done then I would just go with expression. It really depends on you. If you want a better quality go with dreamweaver.
