Fireworks Review

Fireworks is a program that helps you with things that you want to do with your images such as cropping or inserting a text box. Although I thought it was hard at first it has gotten easier over time and it can help you a lot with your pictures. You can also preview your pictures by clicking the preview button. It is used a lot when you use Macromedia Dreamweaver for your images. I like just using basic paint but you can do more with this in specifics. If you do use this make sure you trim the canvas by going to the modify tab and then find trom canvas. Hope this helps you.

Jakob Nielsen's Usability 101

Jakob Nielsen defines usability by 5 components. Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors and Satisfaction. I can see how each of these can be put into usability. He also says that another key  one is utility. He says that usability is a very important factor on the web. If the place you are on is really slow you will probably get frustrated with the website and leave it. Nielsen continues to talk about usability and its importance. This is helpful to anyone who wants to learn about the web and usability.

Christian Web Design

   As Christians we are supposed to tell others about Christ. A website is a great way you can tell about Jesus and share the word. Max says that it is cool and that the pictures can or cannot be helpful. I think what matters is if the goal for your website is to glorify God. It doesn't have to have all the fancy pictures and stuff, even though that can help, it really depends on if you are doing it to glorify God. We can tell others about Christ and maybe even lead them to Jesus.All that we do should be to glorify Him.

Dreamweaver vs. Expression Web 4

Dreamweaver and expression are both very helpful for web designing. I prefer Dreamweaver a little because it is easier to find stuff like hyperlinking stuff. If you are going to buy one then you really could go either way. Expression is cheaper to install which is a good thing. Dreamweaver is super easy if you have someone to help you find the basic stuff. If you want one that is cheap though and will get the job done then I would just go with expression. It really depends on you. If you want a better quality go with dreamweaver.

Benefits of Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver is a lot more helpful than making your own html document. It is simple and easy to use. It is also very quick. Mr. Biddle made it very simple and I like it a lot a better than making your own html. If you don not like html very much i would prefer this to you.

Steve Jobs helped us communicate better and also helped us get access to music and to enjoy our life better with his wonderful products. His products, like iPod, iPad, and Apple made our lives much easier and funner! 

Frames VS Tables

I personally like frames better than tables cause I think they are easier to navigate with but many would not agree. The one bad thing about frames is that you have to have keep track of more html documents. Frames divide your browser into separate areas while tables divide it into separate cells. One bad thing about frames is that they really are not used much anymore. Keeping a consistent design on tables are also harder too. Frames and Tables have both their goods and bads and it it really up to you which one you like better.

             If you would like to go to this concert, too bad, its fake! This is a project for school.

Book Review

The pictures on Guide to Basic HTML are amazing. Caveman Dan is cool. They could have had prettier colors and there is a lot of information. Too much for me. Still,the pics are great. It seems like it goes on forever, but I guess it is supposed too. The goal of the book is to learn the simple secrets to building web pages and to learn how to be successful on the Internet.The tutorial  is made into 5 sections (The basics, basically simple, basically advanced, simply advanced and resource section.) . This book is designated for people who are wanting to know more about HTML or just what HTML is. There is much, much more to read about but you will have to find that out yourself!
                 

   

html is a lot more detailed but wysiwyg is a lot quicker than html and i think it would also be easier than html but to other people html may be easier and more convenient to them. html has the more detail and will probably give you more accurate results.

Website

The purpose of the website I would make would be to tell people about the latest sports events and scores of NFL, NBA, Tennis, and NCAA games. The mission is to be a website that people can see the the scores and latest news on sports. The website will list scores of games, and the latest news. My short term goals are for a cool website with sports news. My long term goals are for people to know the scores of games. I want them to look at the score and news of games and players. Anyone can come at anytime to see the score if they miss due to power outage, their own game, or even because of bedtime. I want my website to be very successful.

I think some good elements in art are the color, and the more complex it is. Here is a picture of a complex picture
