Multimedia Post
Multimedia is a very helpful and good thing to include in your website. Designers can have many types of multimedia. They could have text, animation, sound, pictures, and video all in one website. Video and animation are probably the most common, but there are many other types of multimedia. Sound is also another big one. Many websites use or are based on Macromedia Flash.
Many things can influence the website message. You could have a really good message in your website, but the stuff you use in your website ruins it. Making the stuff you use in your website look professional is very important for a really big business, but your website could be more simple and colorful if it is a website for little kids. Your pictures, music, and video should have a purpose to your message or goal of the site, and not just be there for no apparent reason.
Designers should consider a few things when putting multimedia in their website. First, you need to just make sure everything works. Your site isn't going to be very good if you don't even have everything working. You also need to make sure everything goes towards the message of your website. They need to make sure everything goes together. If your site is a sports site, you can't have a video of highlights from a game, and then have a picture of a barbie on it too. They should also have a variety of multimedia, so it has a little of every type of media in it.
Overall, multimedia is good for your website. Your site would be boring if you didn't have any animation or pictures. A website should be something that people want to go to, not something that they don't look forward too.

Exceptional Serice
I have had exceptional service at quite a few places, but a time at Olive Garden stands out. It was a waiter and he was very kind and got our drinks, salad, bread sticks, and main dishes out very quickly. He was very polite to us and checked up on us often. He was very funny too. He was just overall a very good waiter. I can improve as a Christian to be polite to others and have a Christ-like attitude to be a good example to them. Like the waiter was has happy to serve me and my family, we should be happy to serve the Lord.

Google Policy
I read Google's new policies and it looks like there are some goods and bads. It looks like it will be easier to access and use more things at once. The being able to share with others looks like they are trying to compete with Facebook and Twitter, which could go very well or bad. It sounds like its trying to find out what you like or what would be helpful for you and maybe give you suggestions or websites that would benefit you the most and have them easily available for you. They will also give your information to others if you allow them too. It looks like this is going to help them but we will have to see. I put where to go to to if you would like to read it yourself. http://www.google.com/policies/

Fireworks Review
Fireworks is a program that helps you with things that you want to do with your images such as cropping or inserting a text box. Although I thought it was hard at first it has gotten easier over time and it can help you a lot with your pictures. You can also preview your pictures by clicking the preview button. It is used a lot when you use Macromedia Dreamweaver for your images. I like just using basic paint but you can do more with this in specifics. If you do use this make sure you trim the canvas by going to the modify tab and then find trom canvas. Hope this helps you.

Jakob Nielsen's Usability 101
Jakob Nielsen defines usability by 5 components. Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors and Satisfaction. I can see how each of these can be put into usability. He also says that another key one is utility. He says that usability is a very important factor on the web. If the place you are on is really slow you will probably get frustrated with the website and leave it. Nielsen continues to talk about usability and its importance. This is helpful to anyone who wants to learn about the web and usability.

Christian Web Design
As Christians we are supposed to tell others about Christ. A website is a great way you can tell about Jesus and share the word. Max says that it is cool and that the pictures can or cannot be helpful. I think what matters is if the goal for your website is to glorify God. It doesn't have to have all the fancy pictures and stuff, even though that can help, it really depends on if you are doing it to glorify God. We can tell others about Christ and maybe even lead them to Jesus. All that we do should be to glorify Him.

Dreamweaver vs. Expression Web 4
Dreamweaver and expression are both very helpful for web designing. I prefer Dreamweaver a little because it is easier to find stuff like hyperlinking stuff. If you are going to buy one then you really could go either way. Expression is cheaper to install which is a good thing. Dreamweaver is super easy if you have someone to help you find the basic stuff. If you want one that is cheap though and will get the job done then I would just go with expression. It really depends on you. If you want a better quality go with dreamweaver.

Benefits of Dreamweaver
Dreamweaver is a lot more helpful than making your own html document. It is simple and easy to use. It is also very quick. Mr. Biddle made it very simple and I like it a lot a better than making your own html. If you don not like html very much i would prefer this to you.
